Carolyn Stirling

Hi, I am Carolyn Stirling. I recently graduated with honours from Georgian College with an advanced diploma in Acupuncture (2019). I am registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. Acupuncture is my second career. I practiced as a dental hygienist for twenty-five years. Prior to pursuing acupuncture, I took a step back from the dental profession in order to spend time raising my five children. After my oldest daughter and son left for university, I felt it was time to refocus. After a personal life changing experience with the success of TCM acupuncture treatments, I decided to explore a career in Acupuncture. I have chosen this path to help others, as I was helped, and this is where my passion now lies. Outside of my love for Acupuncture, I enjoy spending time with my five children, my golden retriever and cats. I have been an active volunteer for the last nine years with the Mariposa Wrestling Club, and the elementary and high school wrestling programs. I have also volunteered with the Elementary School, “Girlstrong” Running Program. Although it has been a long journey, I embrace and thoroughly enjoy this path as an Acupuncturist; who would have thought that a little needling would get me to this point.
